Having an invite to a wedding when placed on the offenders list could pose a problem. However if the offenders writes to the secretary at the earliest opportunity giving details for the wedding , venue, date, names of those being married etc this may receive special dispensation. The secretary will contact the venue as well as other members of the pubwatch and if the venue is prepared to accept the offenders for the sole purpose of attending the wedding then normally permision is granted with RESTRICTIONS . The same procedure applies with funerals. Offenders who have not contacted the secretary and try to gain entry to such an event via "the back door" etc will have extra time applied to their original sentence.
By being fair and making the pubwatch seceretary aware of the circumstances at the onset usually has a favourable outcome.
